This 18 hole championship golf course was built by renowned golf course architect, Jack Fleming in 1963.
Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course will challenge your game and your shot making skills with a lot of trees, traps and narrow fairways. You will be rewarded for carefully planned and executed shots and punished for improper course management. In all respect we want everyone to have a great time while playing here.

Hole #1
This is a difficult starting hole with a hazard lining the left side of the fairway and trees lining the right. If you tee off from the blue or black tees you will be hitting from Sacramento county to San Joaquin County.
The way to play this hole is to aim down the right tree line and try to draw the ball back to the center of the fairway. The green is guarded by two bunkers on the green break back to front and to the south. -
Hole #2
This hole is a relatively short par 4 but two oak trees guard the left side of the fairway and one guard the left front side of the green.
The ideal tee shot will put you just left of the 150 yard marker plus 30 yards.
This will give you an open shot to the green, which is guarded by a large oak tree to the left with the right by a greenside bunker. The green has a hump on the left back. -
Hole #3
This par 5 is reachable with a long drive and a long fairway wood shot. The fairway kick the ball to the right so used the left side of the fairway.
Being too far to the left will get you lined with trees so it will force a low punch to leave you with a mid-high iron in. The green slopes back to front on the green which is a left and right front-side bunker. -
Hole #4
This is a short par four that has the best angle into the green from the right side of the fairway.
The green slopes back to front, sucker pin is the right side, so aim for the center of the green. Being short of the left side of the green will result being in the bunker and being log to the right will result being wet. -
Hole #5
This hole it is better to be short than long. There is a sand trap to the right and left of the front side of the green and one on the center backside 3 steps from the green. -
Hole #6
This is the second longest par 4 on the course. You will have to drive it long to be in sight of the green, being right will give you tall tree trouble.
The green is two tiered with two front-side bunkers, which are on the left and right of the green and on long bunker on the backside of the green. -
Hole #7
This is a long uphill par 3 which is all carry. Miss too far to the right and you will be out-of-bounds being left will give you a chip on but you will have to avoid the trees.
The green slopes back to front and a little to the east. -
Hole #8
This par 5 will test your first shot from the back tees. Aim to the red eucalyptus trees on the left side of the fairway with a little fade.
Bigger hitters will be left with a long iron in for a possible put at eagle. The green slopes right to left. The ball can roll off the left right with a left rear pin placement. -
Hole #9
This hole allows for a narrow landing area. Use a club to hit the fairway which is better to miss a little right because the left side will may leave you a big oak tree as an obstacle. This will give you a short iron in.
The green slopes back to front and to the south. If you hit the front of the green it will spin back off. -
Hole #10
This hole is a difficult driving hole because there are tree’s everywhere. The best approach is to aim down the left side of the fairway with a fade.
There is a narrow landing area for a good second shot in. The best is to layup at the 150 yard for a precise shot onto the green. The green has a alight break to the west. -
Hole #11
The wind usually blows from west to east. Aim your tee shot to the right edge of the green.
The green has a slight break to the west. -
Hole #12
This is a long par 5 with OB to the left so aim into the trees aligning the right and draw the ball back to the fairway.
On the second shot play a fade to the front of the green. The green slopes back to front and to the south, it breaks more than it looks. -
Hole #13
Big Hitters aim and hit it through the gap in the trees but you need to be able to carry it high 250 yards. Regular hitters aim at the oak tree on the left side of the fairway and let it fade.
Being too left on the fairway will leave you with a big oak tree guarding the green. Green slopes severe back to front. -
Hole #14
Big hitter may have problems with a driver because you can hit it through the fairway. Hit a three iron to the 150 yard marker to give you a clear shot in.
The green slopes north to south so ball may roll of the south. -
Hole #15
This hole has a OB on the left side. Depending on which tee box you are playing from will determine the severity of the draw you must use.
Safe play is to aim at the cypress tree or the 150 yard marker and draw it in. It’s better to be right than left on this hole. The green is fairly flat. -
Hole #16
The lake is 260 yards from the black tees so use a 3 or 5 wood, or even a 3 iron and aim to the right side of the fairway.
Green is usually hard in the afternoon and breaks to the west. -
Hole #17
A tall tree overhangs the west front side of the green so it is safer to go a little right.
There is a bunker on the front right side of the green as well as one on the back. The green slopes to the west. -
Hole #18
Big hitters can hit it though the gap in the dog leg. Second shot is all carry and up hill slightly over the green is trouble.
Green Slope is from back to front. Low 3 irons sometimes won’t hold.
